Reports indicate that Wigwe, along with his wife and son, were onboard the ill-fated helicopter, which crashed around 10 p.m. local time near Nipton, Calif., an unincorporated community in eastern San Bernardino County, approximately 60 miles south of Las Vegas.

As of Saturday morning, authorities have not located any survivors. The Federal Aviation Administration confirmed the crash involving a Eurocopter EC130 helicopter but provided no details on its departure point or destination.
