APC Primary Election: Senator Oseni Congratulates Ohere & Other APC Candidates

The Senator representing Kogi Central Senatorial District, Senator Yakubu Oseni has felicitated with Engr Abubakar Ohere and other victorious candidates of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the just concluded primary elections across his constituency.

Engr Ohere has emerged winner of the keenly contested primary election to fly the flag of the APC in the forthcoming senatorial election for Kogi Central District.

The lawmaker in a congratulatory message noted that “the APC in Kogi State under the combined able leadership of our dynamic Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello and chairman, Hon. Abdullahi Bello, has once again demonstrated practical and absolute regard for internal democracy which is very pertinent in leadership recruitment processes.”

“It is in this light that I specially congratulate my brothers Engr Abubakar Ohere (Senatorial Candidate, Kogi Central), Alhaji Tijani Ahmed Ozigi (House of Reps candidate, Ogori/Magongo Federal Constituency), Hon. Idris Ozi Shaib (Adavi/Okehi Federal Constituency) and Hon. Abdulraheem Egidi Sanni (Ajaokuta Federal Constituency).”

While expressing optimism that the candidates would defeat their opponents in the general election, Senator Oseni assured them of his continued support in any possible ways.

However, he called on those that could not fly the flag of the party to wholeheartedly accept the decisions of the delegates, noting that they all have the capacity to creditably perform in various capacity they sought.

“It’s time for us to be more united and ensure victory for our great party in 2023. Do not despair because there is always another opportunity for those who could not get the party ticket for now. That is the spirit of sportsmanship and party loyalty that ought to define our journey towards victory come 2023,” he admonished.
