Pre-Carnival Picnic: December 29th, 2023

On December 29th, 2023, the festivities kick off with a pre-carnival picnic at the enchanting Trans Atlantic Centre, Iruvochinomi, Egge Road. This natural garden, renowned for recreation, research, and development, sets the stage for a day filled with joy. The TAC welcomes Anebira from both home and the diaspora, along with their families. A dedicated children’s playground ensures fun for all ages. And for the food enthusiasts, the Ebira Kitchen will be serving up our local delicacies, including Epi-Akuku, Epi-ezza, Epi-Ichakoro, Epi-odankwekwe, Apapa, ovve, and Apapapa. Dive into a culinary journey that reflects the richness of our heritage.

Cultural displays will unfold, showcasing our ancient history, while contemporary acts promise to captivate the youth and the young at heart. Prepare to be entertained, enlightened, and immersed in the vibrant spirit of the Ebira Carnival.

As we bid farewell to 2023, the grand finale awaits with the Carnival Reception on December 31st. The Carnival Arena, located at the public field opposite Dabras Hotels, will be the epicenter of our cultural showcase.

Join us for mesmerizing performances by the Rambo Dancers, Osamakuru, Eche-ori, Eku-Oba, Akatapa, Ikura-va, Eche-Ozoku, and more. Our promise to you is an evening filled with cultural splendor and entertainment that will leave lasting memories.
