Kogi Man Arrested for Selling Human Skulls for 30-35k

Yusuf Adenoyin, a 37-year-old from Kogi State, has been arrested by personnel attached to the Police Safer Highway Patrol at a checkpoint between Isua and Epinmi. Adenoyin was traveling in a Nissan car from Akure to Osogbo with four other passengers when he was apprehended.

A security source confirmed to Peoples Gazette in Akure that Adenoyin was traveling from Okene in Kogi State to Osogbo in Osun State to deliver human skulls to a herbalist. The source revealed that Adenoyin had concealed the skulls inside a sack of garri alongside charms before he was caught.

Police Commissioner Abayomi Oladipo confirmed the arrest in a statement. “Upon interrogation, Adenoyin, 37, confessed to being the owner of the skulls and explained that he was delivering them to an herbalist named Opeifa in the Oke-Onitea area of Osogbo,” Oladipo stated.

Adenoyin also identified other customers to whom he regularly supplied human skulls, including individuals named Almonso and Alfaa Agba, both residing in the Oke-Onitea area, and Oshoyemi, who lives around the Oja Oba area.

The suspect further revealed that the skulls were handed to him by a person named Imaila from Oboroke in Okene, and that each skull was sold for between thirty thousand Naira (N30,000) and thirty-five thousand Naira (N35,000).
