The Chairman of Ajaokuta Local Government Area of Kogi State, Mustapha Aliyu Akaaba has sacked the acting Onu of Ajaokuta, Mallam Adama Musa over alleged financial misconduct.
The sack of the traditional head of Ajaokuta was contained in a letter signed by the Chairman and dated November 12th, 2021.
Ebira Reporters gathered that the monarch was earlier issued a letter of query when the allegations were leveled against him, but he refused to answer the query.
Thus, the Chairman who felt belittled, wielded his stick for failure to respond to the allegations and clear his name.
Furthermore, Mallam Musa has been directed to face a disciplinary committee headed by the Internal Auditor of the Local Government.
Meanwhile, Prince Mustapha Ayenigba has been appointed to take over as the Acting Onu of Ajaokuta.
